1. Who we are

Bl4nk Clips ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Bl4nk Clips Ltd, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this platform. For privacy enquiries, contact privacy@bl4nkclips.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data:Name, email address, and role (creator or clipper) provided at signup.
  • Campaign data:Campaign titles, briefs, budgets, and source footage links uploaded by creators.
  • Clip data:Clip URLs, captions, and platform metadata submitted by clippers.
  • Usage data:Pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps — used to improve the platform.
  • Payment data:Payout requests and transaction records. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored by us.
  • IP address:Used for country-level fraud detection (IP → country code only). Not linked to identity.

3. How we use your data

  • ✓To operate the platform and facilitate campaigns and payments
  • ✓To verify your identity and prevent fraud
  • ✓To send transactional emails (confirmations, payout notifications)
  • ✓To display your earnings, clip history, and leaderboard rank
  • ✓To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security). For marketing emails, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • ·Supabase — our database and authentication provider (EU/US servers)
  • ·Stripe — payment processing (UK/EU GDPR compliant)
  • ·Resend — transactional email delivery
  • ·Vercel — platform hosting (US servers, standard contractual clauses)

6. Leaderboard and public display

The Vault leaderboard displays clippers by anonymous ID only. Your real name and email are never shown publicly. Only you can see your own full name on the platform.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • →Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • →Object to processing for legitimate interests
  • →Data portability (export your data in a machine-readable format)

8. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Clip and campaign data is retained for 3 years for accounting purposes. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
